understanding of the problems and people it works with.
Research provides much of this contextual information. Y.E.A.H.
relies heavily on research conducted by others, when available.
When necessary, Y.E.A.H. designs and conducts qualitative
research to inform its strategies. Y.E.A.H. also conducts
qualitative research to test communication materials and

Monitoring and Evaluation
The monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system is a source
of information that Y.E.A.H. uses to track its performance
against set goals and objectives. It is also a source of
information for accountability to the young people, local
community leaders, and partners. The system also provides
information that the Implementation Unit uses to learn about
what is working, what is not working, and why it is not
