Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU)

Save the Children US (SCUS)
SCUS has initiated Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Heath activities through youth clubs benefiting youth, both in- and out-of-school, with life skills training. Over fifteen of these clubs are also benefiting from the development of “safe school policies” and “safe communities” where the rights of children, especially girls, are affirmed and protected. It includes a component on “responsible sexuality” and HIV/AIDS prevention, as well as cross-cutting activities in health, nutrition, and child rights, to assure that schools are environments conducive to learning, respectful of individual difference, provide psychosocial comfort, and promote positive role models.
